So, we hear Portland is getting its own Monopoly board.
We get it, Portland is great. They’ve got the lighthouse, Monument Square, the State Theatre, all that stuff. But when are we going to get a Monopoly board of all the iconic spots around the Twin Cities? Obviously no Hasbro executive has ever visited the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul or stopped by Simones’ for a chili cheese dog. What about Mt. Apatite Park or The Colisee or the Rollodrome? We’ve basically got Patrick Dempsey on speed dial! (OK, we don’t but he does come back to visit for the annual Dempsey Challenge).
Before you say, “Well, they included Bates College in the Maine Monopoly edition…” We know but we don’t think it’s enough. Now, we want to hear from you: what notable places do you think should be included on a Lewiston and Auburn Monopoly board? Fill out the form below or write to us at contact@sunjournal.com.
