SANFORD – Dennis Deschenes, 74, of Sanford passed away on Feb. 10, 2023, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Lewiston.

He was born on November 24 1948 to parents Edward and Alva Deschenes.

Dennis was a veteran of the United States Navy. He enjoyed fishing with his family.

Dennis worked in various fields, but retired as a security officer.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marjorie Deschenes; his daughter Tina Thompson; two grandchildren, William Deschenes and Sarah Hart; four great-grandchildren, and his sister Geraldine Alexander.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made in his name to the Autism Society of Maine
