LEWISTON — Robert E. Greaton, 78, of Bolster Heights Nursing Home, passed away Sunday, July 31, at Central Maine Medical Center, after a long illness, with his loving family by his side.
He was born in Lewiston, Oct. 6, 1932, the son of William W. and Catherine (Harden) Greaton. He was employed at Koss Shoe and also for Shirls Cleaning. He loved working in his flower garden, riding his bike, doing puzzles as well as painting pictures.
Survivors include one brother, Allen E. Greaton of Miami, Okla.; and three sisters, Barbara Shaw and husband, Charles, Shirley Hunt and husband, John and Connie Robinson and husband, Tom, all of Auburn.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by three brothers, William Greaton Jr., Philip Greaton and Richard Greaton; and one sister, Becky Leonard.
The family would like to offer special thanks for the loving care he received at Bolster Heights for eight and a half years and also to the staff at M1 at Central Maine Medical Center
