Dorothy Loretta Hanson

AUBURN – Dorothy Loretta Hanson, 31, of Auburn, passed away unexpectedly in her home on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2023.

Born in Lewiston on Jan. 9, 1992, she was the daughter of Thomas P. Hanson Sr. and Lisa Ann Williams. Educated locally, she worked several different jobs but especially enjoyed her time at Pat’s Pizza.

Dottie loved the ocean and seafood, walks in the woods, playing video games with Fluffy and her kids, and going to Dunkin’s, but her greatest joy came from time spent with her children and grandchild.

Survivors include her mother, Lisa Williams Murray Hanson; four sons, Jayden Lord, Charles, Christian, and Caleb Stimpson; three daughters, Brooklynn, Mercedes, and Athena Messanger; four brothers, Thomas P. Hanson II, Stephen Demmings, Mathew Bubier, and Joshua Jacques, four sisters, Trista Ayala, Kayla Gordon, Lacey Hanson, and Adyanca McKinney; and one grandchild, Paxton James Lord.

A celebration of Dottie’s life will be held at the Albert & Burpee Funeral Home on Friday, March 3, from 1 to 4 p.m. Memories may be shared at http://www.albert-burpee.com.
