AUBURN — Eve Fralick, a resident from Greenland, New Hampshire, plans to present a tour of the Far East at 2 p.m. Thursdays, March 23 and 30, in the Androscoggin Room at Auburn Public Library, 49 Spring St.

The presentation will include her slides and stories of places that many never see. Highlights include hiking a centuries-old pilgrimage in Japan, visiting a cherry blossom festival and the 38th parallel in South Korea, and climbing the Great Wall of China, according to a news release from Diane Clay, Senior College Board.

Fralick has backpacked around the world, off the beaten path where few others venture. She documents her adventures in travelogues and presents them at libraries, schools and civic groups.

Those who plan to attend should register ahead of time by calling the reference desk at the library at 207-333-6600, ext. 6.
