NEWRY — Maine Adaptive is hosting their 35th annual ski-a-thon On April 2 after taking a three year COVID break.
It’s the only time during the winter when a majority of our participants, volunteers, and supporters are gathered together, so we are able to celebrate as a whole community and after being gone for the past 3 years.
Participating in the Ski-A-Thon is as easy as 1, 2, 3! Create a team, join a team or be your own team! We encourage everyone to raise a minimum of $250 per person, with lots of great incentives and prizes to go above and beyond!
All team members who raise the minimum amount by March 27th receive:
• A non-transferrable Sunday River ski pass for the day of the event
• Grab & Go Lunch
• An event t-shirt
• Invitation to the awards celebration, drink ticket, and after party at Definitive Brewing Company
• A day in the outdoors with friends, new and old, lots of smiles and the chance to win some cool prizes

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
