The Tri-Town Optimist Club of Mechanic Falls, Minot and Poland has named Hunter Oehme of Mechanic Falls its Regional School Unit 16 Student of the Month recipient for March.
Hunter, a senior at Poland Regional High School, was selected by staff for his outstanding leadership qualities and his overall positive outlook on life. He is described as a mature, delightful and witty conversationalist who has a genuine compassion for those around him, according to a news release from Jenny Rose, RSU 16 Adult Education director.
