NORWAY — The Oxford Hills SCORE Chapter, in coordination with the Oxford Hills Chamber of Commerce and Small Business Development Centers, will conduct a business roundtable Aug. 24 from 8 to 9 a.m. at the Ripley Medical Building conference room, 193 Main St., Norway. There is no charge for this event.
At a previous roundtable, participants expressed an interest in discussing ways that area businesses might take advantage of the anticipated resort casino. The business roundtable discussion topic will be “The Resort Casino and Your Business — Preparing For The Future.” The session will start with panel members making brief presentations followed by discussion among participants.
Panel members are: John Williams, Oxford Hills Chamber of Commerce, topic “The Potential Economic and Jobs Impact of the Resort Casino;” Greg Gould, Small Business Development Centers, topic, “Marketing Your Business in Light of a New Regional Project.”
Coffee and pastries will be available beginning at 7:30 a.m.
Attendees are asked to park park at the Second Congregational Church at Main and Paris streets because the Ripley Medical Building parking is reserved for patients. The Ripley Building is across the parking lot from the church.
