JAY – Jacqueline Anita Allaire “Jacquie”, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away peacefully at her home in Jay, Maine, on April 25, 2023, at the age of 75. Jacqueline was born on Feb. 15, 1948, in Lewiston, Maine, to the late Ange Nadeau (father) and Anita Nadeau (mother).

Jacquie went to Lewiston High School and worked many years as a nurse’s aide at Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington, Maine, where she dedicated her life to helping others. She was also an active member of her church, Fellowship Church in Greene, Maine, and its music ministry and considered them her second family.
In her spare time, Jacquie enjoyed reading, gardening, and spending time with her family. She had an adventurous spirit and loved to travel with her family and especially loved to visit the beach at Pine Point in Scarborough, Maine. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and her family was the most important thing to her. Jacquie was a kind and compassionate person who always put others before herself. She found joy in everyone she met and was beloved by her family, friends, and colleagues and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Jacquie is survived by her husband Eugene Allaire, her son John Davis, daughter-in-law Kristin Culverwell, granddaughter Scarlett Davis, brothers Dickie Nadeau, Marty Nadeau and Normand Nadeau, many close cousins, especially, Lorette Hampton of Hartland, Vt. who was like a sister to Jacquie, Aunt Delores LaFrance of Satellite Beach, Fla., and many nieces and nephews.
Jacquie will be remembered for her kind heart, her unwavering dedication to others, and her love for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of those she touched throughout her life.
Services will be scheduled for later this summer.
