LEWISTON — James Bradley has been promoted to staff associate for teacher education and student success at the University of Southern Maine’s Lewiston-Auburn College, Joyce Gibson, dean of college, announced.

The primary purpose of this position will be to serve as a key role in planning, coordinating and implementing USM’s secondary teacher education program in Lewiston. He will also consult with students, advisers and faculty regarding the program.

Bradley is also responsible for coordinating all student recognition at USM LAC, including scholarship and academic awards. Additionally he will be responsible for the management and interpretation of all data relevant to USM LAC and managing outside group reservations and events coordination.

Bradley has been with USM since 1999 and is past president of ACSUM (the associated, clerical, office, laboratory and technical staff of the University of Maine system). He lives in Mechanic Falls.
