Teena Benson

MEXICO – Teena Benson, 61, died Wednesday May 17, 2023 at the Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston. She was a resident of Mexico.

Born in Rumford on Sept. 27, 1961, she was a daughter of Rene and Linda (Gould) Bernard. She was a graduate of Strafford High School in Bridgeport, Conn. She enjoyed playing Bingo.

Teena was married in Bridgeport, Conn. on April 22, 1995 to Lowell Benson who survives of Mexico. Other survivors include her sons, Aaron and Adam Benson of Mexico; a brother Ted Bernard and wife Theresa of Florida; special friends Pat and Kam Eaton of Mexico and Ruth White of Carthage.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday June 2, 2023 at the Meader & Son Funeral Home 3 Franklin St. Rumford. Interment will be in St John Cemetery in Rumford. Friends and family are invited to call at the funeral home 12 to 2 p.m. prior to the funeral.
