Promising newcomers: Juniors — Desiree Johns (G), Kayla Ross (MF); Sophomore — Kelsey Collins (G), Sarah Carpenter (FB); Freshmen — Toni Hart (FB), Vanessa Wright (MF).

Outlook:  The Raiders lost some experienced talent, including all-conference defenders in Langlois and Wood.  Still, there’s a strong returning group that were a key part of the Raiders run to the playoffs last fall after many near-misses in previous seasons. Beaulieu is a threat up front after playing mostly in the goal last year.  There’s experience in the midfield and on defense as well.

Coach’s comment: “Expect a good passing team with a very strong defense. We look for midfielders to control the pace of the game and feed accurate strikers. We have a very deep team. We should be able to keep fresh feet on the field without sacrificing talent.” Coach Nicole Camire.
