LISBON — Both drivers complained of pain but did not require immediate medical attention after a collision on Route 196 shortly after noon Friday.
Officer Shawn Kelly identified the drivers as Alfred Smith, 67, and Bailey Madore, 16, both of Lisbon Falls. Kelly said Smith had stopped for a red light in the westbound lane when Madore, who was traveling behind him, was unable to stop in time and struck the back of Smith’s car.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Frost Hill Avenue,
Damage was estimated at $2,500 to Smith’s 2011 Hyundai Sonata and at $3,000 to Madore’s 1999 Hyundai Elantra in the 12:27 p.m. crash.
No charges were filed.
