FREEPORT — “ART,” a 1999 Tony Award winner for best play, will be presented on Sept. 15-Oct. 2 at Freeport Factory Stage.

The play, written by French playwright Yasmina Reza, is the story of three men whose friendship is tested when one of them purchases an expensive work of abstract art. The trio is played by Chris Newcomb, Joe McGrann and local favorite James Noel Hoban under agreement with Actors’ Equity.

Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, with one matinee at 2 p.m. on Oct. 2.
