The Broad Street Band, formed in 1999, will play from 9:30 p.m. until midnight on Friday, Sept. 2, at Schemengees Bar & Pool Hall in Lewiston. Opening the show, at 8 p.m., will be Altertone, a younger generation band playing a mix of pop, rock and punk. This four-piece band is made up of drummer and vocalist Derek Johnson, son of Broad Street Band member Dan Johnson; Tyler Pushard, lead vocalist and rhythm guitar; David Perlman, lead guitarist; and Logan Pushard.
