FALMOUTH — Barbara M. Robertson, 92, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Sept. 3, at Sedgewood Commons.

She was born in Jonesboro on March 29, 1919, the daughter of Oscar and Alice Fish Mawhinney. In 1938 she left Jonesboro for Hopedale, Mass., where she married and raised a family with the late John D. Robertson. In 1964 she moved to Lewiston, where she worked as an LPN at area nursing homes for the next 25 years. She was a member of the Auburn United Methodist Church.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Marcia Humason Akers, and son-in-law Carroll Akers of Poland; son, Paul Robertson, and his fiancée Yvonne Bigos of Tallahassee, Fla.; two granddaughters, Dawn Beaule and Debra Humason-Fulgham and their families, Jeff and Brayden Beaule of Lewiston and Stanford, Koby and Saphryn Humason-Fulgham of Auburn and Rae Robertson of Lincoln.

Barbara was predeceased by her companion, Bill Dwinal; sisters, Lila Smith and Mary Cox; brother, William Mawhinney; and son-in-law Walter Humason.
