NEWPORT, R.I. — Jeannette (Cote) LeBlanc Bergeron, 97, formerly of Lewiston, died on Friday, Sept. 2, at the Village House Nursing Home.

She was born in Weedon, Canada, the daughter of the late Willie and Tharcile (Hebert) Cote. She was predeceased by her husband, Ovila LeBlanc; and second husband, Arthur Bergeron.

She leaves two daughters, Vivian Labbe and husband, Raymond, of Florida and Portsmouth, R.I., and Diane Nelson and husband, Eugene, of Nixa, Mo.

She was predeceased by her sisters, Gilberte Landry, Rita Higgins and Lorette Levasseur; and brother, Andre Cote. She also leaves five grandchildren, William and Paul Labbe, Celeste Dugan, Cheryl Massey and Mark Nelson; as well as 12 great grandchildren.
