LEWISTON — The Franco Center is set to host a baked bean supper from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, in its Heritage Hall at 46 Cedar St.
Tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and younger. Parking is available in the mill lot. The building is handicap accessible on the Lincoln Street alley side.
Chef John Pulsifer’s menu includes Boston baked pea beans, New England baked red kidney beans, lasagna, Kayem red hot dogs, brown bread or biscuits, coffee, tea, lemonade and an assortment of homemade desserts, according to a news release from Denise Scammon with the center.
The center provides access to Franco-American traditions such as this bean supper and also meetups for conversation among French speakers, La Rencontre luncheons with entertainment, concerts by Franco-American performers, and foods such as Whoopie pies and tourtière pies.
A second bean supper is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 18.

Tickets also can be purchased at the box office between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
