Joanne MacKinnon

BRIDGTON – Joanne MacKinnon, 87, of Waterford, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2023 at Bridgton Hospital. She was born in Amsterdam, New York on April 17, 1936 the daughter of Joseph and Mary Wright Fratianni.

Joanne loved raising her family. She also enjoyed breeding and showing her golden retrievers, reading and cooking. She was a member of the Waterford Congregational Church, a member and past trustee of the Waterford Historical Society, a member of the Golden Retriever Club of America and a founding member of the Lenape Tracking Club of Central New Jersey.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Ralph; her children, Susan Black and husband Tod, Nancy Fortuna, Lauren Parillo and husband Joe, Russell MacKinnon and wife Patricia and Robert MacKinnon and wife Jackie; and 10 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2023 at 11 a.m. at the Waterford Congregational Church, 15 Plummer Hill Rd., Waterford with a reception to follow at the Wilkins Community House, 19 Plummer Hill Rd., Waterford.
