Gaslight Theater’s 2023 Season of Laughter  concludes in November with Agatha Christie’s comedic “Fiddlers Three,” directed by Linda Duarte with assistant director Jenny Benjamin-Rider.

The show will be produced at Hallowell City Hall Auditorium at 1 Winthrop St. in Hallowell over two weekends, Nov. 3-5 and 10-12. The Friday and Saturday shows start at 7:30 p.m. and the Sunday shows at 2 p.m.

The story in a nutshell: Trying to get their hands on more than a little inheritance, a group of people hide the body of a dead tycoon. But what starts as a lark quickly becomes all too serious when they discover that the body is in fact a murder victim. A comedy about business and finance with a strong undercurrent of criminal activity, the play combines humor, intricate plotting, and a confounding murder.

Gaslight’s cast for “Fiddlers Three” includes eleven local actors: Gina Jones is played by Ashley Nyburg of Gardiner; Sally Blunt is played by Alicía Belmore, also of Gardiner; Sam Fletcher is played by Henry Quintal of Augusta; Felix Bogusian is played by Michael Stiles of Kents Hill; Henry Panhacker is played by Dylan Wing of Augusta; Jonathan Panhacker is played by Michael Rowe of Gardiner; The air hostess is played by Jessica Cirello of West Gardiner; Dr. Nolan is played by Gregor Smith of Belgrade; The waitress is played by Clarissa Bernardini of Albion; Mr. Trustcott is played by Melvin Morrison of Hallowell; and, Mr. Moss is played by Matthew Perry, also of Hallowell.
