LEWISTON — Tickets for the Franco Center’s baked bean supper on Saturday, Nov. 18, can be purchased in advance online, by phone or in person at the center’s box office.
The supper is set for 4:30-6 p.m. in the center’s Heritage Hall at 46 Cedar St. All food is prepared by Chef John Pulsifer, a longtime baker in the Lewiston-Auburn community.
Nearly 150 people attended the bean supper in October.
Tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and younger. They can be purchased at the door on the day of the event, in advance at francocenter.org/shows or by phone at 207-689-2000.
Tickets can also be purchased at the box office between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays. People who would like to volunteer can also call.
The center provides access to Franco-American traditions such as the bean supper and also meetups for conversation among French speakers, La Rencontre luncheons with entertainment, concerts by Franco-American performers, and foods such as whoopie pies and tourtière pies.
Parking is available in the mill lot. The building is handicap accessible via an elevator on the Lincoln Street alley side.
