Jacqueline (Bechard) Fox

LEWISTON – Jacqueline Bechard Fox, 76, of Lewiston, passed away at her home on Monday, Jan. 15, 2024. Born in Lewiston on Dec. 7, 1947, she was the daughter of Roger and Grace (Albert) Bechard.

Educated in local schools, she graduated from Lewiston High School in 1965. Upon her retirement from Geiger, she and her husband Russ did a lot of traveling through the country and abroad. Jackie enjoyed attending Isaac’s baseball and hockey games, she also enjoyed reading and doing jigsaw puzzles.

The greatest joy in her life was her grandson, Isaac, she treasured every moment and all of the memories that were made from the time he was born.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Kim Laliberte; her grandson, Isaac; her brother, Roger Bechard and his wife Linette, Mark Bechard and his wife Debbie, a sister, Celine Drake; stepdaughter, Cheryl Woodard; step-grandchildren, Alli Woodard and Cameron Woodard; sister-in-law, Janice Damstra and husband Sid, brothers-in-law Larry Fox and wife Nancy, Gerald Fox, and John Fox and companion, Carol; along with many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; a brother, Daniel Bechard; her husband, Russell; and her son, Michael R. Laliberte.

A very special thank you to Mark and Debbie, who have been her caregivers and also her friend Linda who has been there for her since forever, and to the angels who helped as well, you know who you are.
