Why does the younger generation always want to push the seniors aside and try to take over their lives? They forget that they are going to be in the seniors’ shoes some day, and it is the senior citizens who have helped them get where they are today.

The senior citizens have enjoyed meeting at the Multi-Purpose Center in Lewiston. Now, leave them alone. It is not easy for seniors, at their age, to be moved around. There are veterans who have served the country and helped to make life easier for those younger people who want to take over.

Leave the seniors alone and let them be happy.

I am sure the school department can find another empty spot to place those children. School department officials have said it will be a costly job to get the area ready for little children. They should spend the money somewhere else and leave the senior citizens alone. They don’t have many years left to enjoy their lives.

Let them stay at the Multi-Purpose Center.
