Nicholas Farris digs a temporary drainage channel Wednesday to manage water runoff and keep his driveway in Minot dry ahead of this week’s storm. Farris, who owns Duckblind Lawncare, plans to get ready for plowing snow. “We don’t know what we are getting,” Farris said. “Even if they say we are getting two feet, we might get 16 inches, we might get two feet, or we might get five inches.” The forecast currently predicts 16 inches to fall in the area through Friday.
