I’m always amazed when people complain about their Central Maine Power bill. I usually ask if they figure out what they would give up not to have power.
I did that on April 4 — figured out what I didn’t have.
No phone.
No cable.
No heat.
No Fitbit.
No computer.
No stair-lift.
No power recliner.
No cooking.
The only good side was not having to do laundry.
