AUBURN – Beverly Murphy passed away at Androscoggin Hospice House in Auburn on May 15, 2024.

She was born in Woonsocket R.I. on June 28, 1939 to Grace and Walter Small. They moved to Maine and later in life met John Murphy and married. She worked most of her life at Edward’s Restaurant as a waitress. She loved animals and especially her cats Pebbles, Butchie, and Tiger.

She was predeceased by her parents; and all her siblings.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Blais and her husband Michael; and many nieces and nephews; and  two sisters-in-law Roberta Small of
Lisbon, Maine and Marilyn Small of Portland, Ore.

We would like to thank the kind and caring people at Androscoggin Hospice House in Auburn for taking such good care of her in her last days and the wonderful staff at CMMC.

Family and friends are warmly welcomed to join the visitation on May 24, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Fortin and Pinette Funeral Home, situated at 305 Alfred Plourde Parkway in Lewiston.
