NORWAY — The First Universalist Church of Norway is looking for artists to participate in an art exhibit and sale on Friday, July 12, from 5 to 8 p.m. and on
Saturday, July 13, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. All fine art media are welcome – gallery-style paintings, sculpture, photography. To register for the exhibit, artists
are urged to contact Suzanne Norman at 508-838-6013. “We hope folks enjoying the Norway Music and Arts Festival on Saturday will also wend their way to the church to enjoy our exhibit. We are excited to participate in this annual summer event,” said Exhibit Chair Suzanne Norman.
Participating artists will receive all of the proceeds from sales of their works. Elegant display space in the church Concert Hall will include an eight-foot linen-covered table for a fee of $35 to benefit the church. There will be display space to accommodate twelve artists. The First Universalist Church of Norway, celebrating 225 years, is the oldest continuously operating Universalist church in Maine and the first organized church in Norway.
