L.D. 2259, Stopping Claim Sharks. We need to take every opportunity to protect our veterans. This is particularly near and dear coming off from Memorial Day weekend.

The 72-hour waiting period for weapons. Victims of domestic abuse cannot afford to wait to protect themselves or their loved ones. It is also bad for Maine businesses.

3. Characterize your view on public access to governmental business. (Please limit your answer to 50 words.)

It is the good people of Maine that own Maine Government. Not the other way around, like some in the majority party like to believe. I believe in full, quick access and transparency.
