LEWISTON — The Central Maine Human Resource Association has announced the new officers for 2011-2013. They are Barbara Lovejoy, president; Tina Kelly, vice president of membership; Christine Clabby, secretary; Lisa Dumont, treasurer; Amie Parker, website developer and Jessica Palladino, past president.
Lovejoy is the human resource and professional development manager at Support Solutions. Kelly is assistant director of career services for Kaplan University in Lewiston. She works with local employers to prepare graduates for jobs in Androscoggin County. Clabby is senior vice president at Maine Family Family Credit Union. Parker is human resource manager for Bates College. Dumont is a financial analyst with FIS Global.
The association will have monthly meetings at the Ramada Conference Center in Lewiston. Topics include culture changes in the workplace, making new hires feel welcome, diversity in the workplace and an employment law update. Meeting dates and times can be viewed at cmhra.shrm.org, including the next monthly meeting at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Oct 18.
