LEWISTON — Franklin P. Mills Sr., 90, of 13 Fairview Drive, Lisbon, died Friday, Sept. 30, at the Marshwood Nursing Home.

He was born in Bethel, Dec. 8, 1920, the son of Charles and Susie Fickett Mills. Educated in Bethel schools, Frank was a proud teamster and drove trucks for many years, mostly for the Hemingway Trucking Co., retiring at the age of 67. After his retirement, he kept busy by delivering cars for several area used car dealerships.

Survivors include his loving wife, the former Murielle Lebrun of Lisbon; a son, Franklin “Skip” Mills Jr. and wife, Rosemary, of Watertown, N.Y.; a daughter, Linda Soto of West Palm Beach, Fla.; two stepsons, Gary and wife, Nancy Lecompte, of Lewiston and David Lecompte and companion, Sherry Hein, of West Gardiner; a stepdaughter, Carol and husband, Mike Taylor, of Oxford; two nephews, Elmer Bickford and Ernest Bickford and wife, Gloria Bickford; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one stepgrandchild.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, William Mills.
