If anyone was noticing, Oct. 4 was an enlightening day. While appearing on “FOX and Friends,” Hank Williams Jr. compared President Barack Obama to Adolf Hitler. Is Williams inclined toward the GOP? Yup.

Then there was former Vice President Dick Cheney, also Republican, demanding an apology from the president of the United States for removing from our midst forever an American-born terrorist.

Moving on, consider the case of Maine Secretary of State Charles Summers (GOP) sending out notices to out-of-state students attending colleges and universities in Maine saying that in order to vote here, they must get a Maine driver’s license and register their vehicles here.

Of course, out-of-state students pay only about $15,000 a year more than in-state students. Come on, out-of-state students, get your Maine driver’s licenses and save 15 grand.

That would result in the state losing at least $30 million a year in revenue.

I think those guys went to Dick Cheney’s school of hunting — all have been shot. I will not say where.
