From my prospective, Project 2025 is no laughing matter.
As I read state Sen. Eric Brakey’s “humorous” comments (“Eric Brakey says Project 2025 criticism is ‘fearmongering’,” July 16), I was dismayed with his minimizing the vast array of changes in reproductive liberties, education, Social Security and Medicare, as well as the expansion of the powers of the president if the Republican nominee is elected.
I urge voters to get informed about these proposals. The upcoming election is an important one for our Democracy — not a joking matter.
