WOODSTOCK — On July 30, Hooper McDonough will be swimming the lengths of Lake Christopher, South Pond, and North Pond in order to raise funds for the Community Lakes Association of Woodstock & Greenwood The swim is about 3 miles.
“This organization is important to me because they help to increase awareness of the importance of water quality, and they help keep 9 lakes and ponds in Greenwood and Woodstock clean for wildlife and humans.”
These funds will support programs such as education, water quality testing, and invasive plant removal. Listed below is the link for donations. Your support is really appreciated. The link for donations: https://www.gofundme.com/f/hoppers-swim-for-maines-lakes-health.
