DEAR SUN SPOTS: I’m looking for the words to the French song, “Coeur de Maman.” I would be so grateful. I think you are awesome and do such wonderful things for everyone. I enjoy your column so much. — No name, no town

ANSWER: I’m putting this request out into Sun Spots Land to start a conversation with all my Franco readers. If you know the lyrics to this song, please write in, and if you have a reminiscence to share, I want to hear it!

DEAR SUN SPOTS: I was overcharged for office visits I had with a doctor. I have reported the overcharge by phone to the out-of-state billing office and also went to the financial department affiliated with this doctor’s office twice since March. My overcharges are not being resolved. Who can I contact to help me settle this matter? — No name, no town

ANSWER: If you have health insurance, let them know and they should work on taking care of it for you. You can also notify the billing office in writing, using certified mail with a return receipt for proper documentation. Your letter should clearly state the disputed amount. It should also provide information about the charges in question. If you are in a billing dispute, following federal requirements is important.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: My little great-grandchildren are coming to visit later this summer and I want to make the Jello Poke Cake but I can’t find the card with the instructions. Does anyone make this anymore? It’s an easy, light dessert that the little ones love and I think that this year they will be old enough to help. Please share the recipe if you have it. — Sarah, Oxford

ANSWER: Oh yes, I have made that summery dessert from the 70s many times and so did my mother. You can use any flavor of Jello but I always use strawberry. You can top it with Cool Whip but I use whipped cream, then decorate it with fresh sliced strawberries. Enjoy those sweet cutie-pies! Here you go:

Prepare a white cake mix as directed on the box and bake in a 9 by 13 pan. Let cool for 15 minutes. Poke holes in the cake with a fork with large tines or a skewer at 1/2-inch intervals.

Prepare Jello as directed on the box. Spoon all the liquid Jello over the baked and cooled cake. Allow to chill in the refrigerator for 4 hours. Frost with whipped cream, Cool Whip, buttercream or cream cheese frosting and decorate with fruit or sprinkles.
