Priscilla M. Jolicoeur

LISBON – On Aug. 12, 2024, Priscilla M. Jolicoeur, 100, passed away at home with family at her side. She was born July 23, 1924 in Auburn, the daughter of Ernest and Lydia Toussaint. She grew up in the Lewiston-Auburn area. July 13, 1946 she married Rene Jolicoeur. They lived and raised their children in Auburn. Priscilla’s employment included Bates Manufacturing and Arrowhart Electrical. She was a member of New Life Church Stevens Mills in Auburn and loved the Lord immensely.

Life’s pleasures included playing cards, plastic canvas, crocheting, and sewing but her greatest pleasure was her family.

The last couple of years she spent living in Lisbon with her sister and special caregiver, Doris.

She was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Rene; infant son, Mark; her parents; sisters, Liane Moreau, Madeline Boulay, Therese Toussaint; and brother Romeo Toussaint.

Priscilla is survived by daughters Diane (Charles) Duteau of Auburn, Donna (Jerry) Harris of Casselberry, Florida; sons Richard (Marcia) Jolicoeur of Readfield, David (Theresa Poliquin) Jolicoeur of Brunswick; sisters Marie Lefebvre, Lorraine Quintal, Connie Roy of Lewiston, and Doris Saltis of Lisbon; grandchildren Kevin Duteau, Karen Groleau, Michelle Woodford, and Sarah Sunderland; great-grandchildren Tiah, Noah, Izaiah Duteau, Hannah, Shylah, Molly, Willow Woodford, Kaiden and Kolton Groleau, Nova and Cooper Sunderland; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Andwell Health Partners, especially Kelsie and Nancy, for the wonderful care given to Priscilla. An hour of visitation will be held on Monday, August 19 from 1-2 p.m. at Funeral Alternatives, 25 Tampa St. Lewiston.

A service will follow at 2 p.m. Burial will take place at a later date.
