Patricia A. Pike

LEWISTON – Patricia A. Pike, 72, of Livermore, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2024, at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, surrounded by her loving family, following a selfless 30-year battle with cancer. Shortly before her passing she found the strength to attend her brother-in-law Richard Leach’s funeral to be there for family and friends. Patty was born May 30, 1952, in Farmington, the daughter of Gerard “Butch” and Rita (Ferland) Legere. She was a 1970 graduate of Jay High School. On Oct. 1, 1977, she married her husband of 46 years, Harold Pike of Livermore. Through the years, Patty worked at the local shoe shops, as a cook at Twin Bridge Market in Leeds, an assistant at Growing Tree Preschool in Turner, and Ed Tech at SAD#36. She enjoyed bingo, bowling, lunches at McDonald’s with friends, and cross stitching. Patty loved summer walks with her husband and going on cruises with friends until their grandchildren arrived, then she found a new love. She is survived by her husband, Harold Pike of Livermore, son, Adam Pike and wife Brandy of Livermore, and brother Peter Legere and wife Amy of Livermore Falls, grandsons, Zachary and Alexander Pike, and many nieces and nephews. In-laws, John and wife Carole Pike of Livermore, Phil and wife Carrie Pike of Livermore, and Mary Lerman and husband Marvin of Florida. She was predeceased by her sister, Linda Leach, brother-in-law, Richard Leach, niece, Sarah Pike, and nephews, Chad Legere, Jonah Corkum, and two infant nephews. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m., Friday, August 23, at FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 15 Church Street, Livermore Falls, Maine. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., prior to the service. Interment Lakeside Cemetery, Federal Road, Livermore, Maine. A reception to follow at Livermore Community Building, 29 Church Street, Livermore, Maine.
