LEWISTON – Diane Ouellette, 85 of Lewiston, died peacefully on Monday, Aug. 26, 2024, at the Andwell Hospice House in Auburn.
She was born in Lewiston on May 15, 1939, the daughter of the late Paul and Antoinette (Caron) Ouellette. Diane attended local schools and graduated from St. Joseph’s Academy in South Berwick in 1958.
Diane took wonderful care of her parents until their death. She worked locally all her life until her retirement. She was a friendly, kind hearted person who was passionate about many things including her unique pencil collection, crafts and word search puzzles.
She is survived by several cousins; and her many friends at Frye School Apartments.
She was predeceased by her parents; and several cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, Sept. 9, at 11 a.m., at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul Church, 122 Ash St., Lewiston. Committal prayers will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery, 217 Switzerland Rd., Lewiston in the Mausoleum.
