I thank the Sun Journal for the front page story about people helping others, “The Dempsey Challenge: $1 million raised” (Oct. 10). The face of the nation is changing, but helping others is still near and dear to everyone’s heart.

Patrick Dempsey knows deep down in his heart that helping others is one of the greatest feelings a human can have on this Earth. I offer five very important words: You did a good job.
