BETHEL — On Oct. 7, the Telstar Rebels boys high school soccer team improved to 8-2 after a win against Dirigo.
Telstar’s Cyrus Mills started the scoring off a Nick Lapointe assist. Nick Lapointe added the second goal for Telstar unassisted. Mason Perks found Cyrus for the third goal. Cyrus Mills and Connor Deprey combined, with Connor putting in the fourth goal. Travis Decareau linked up with Maceo Bartlett for the Rebels’ fifth goal of the first half.
Telstar had 21 shots in the first half. Tommy Lapointe started the scoring for the Rebels in the second half by himself. Cyrus was then assisted by Tommy for the next goal, making it 7-0 Telstar. Tommy also put in the last goal of the game from a Travis Decareau assist, ending the game at 8-0. The boys go on to Wiscasset Wednesday.
