
NORWAY — Join West Paris poet Dennis Camire on Thursday, November 7, at 6:30 p.m. at Norway Memorial Library. He will read from his latest book, Anthology of Awe and Wonder (Deerbrook Editions, 2024) and discuss his writing process. Attendees may purchase copies of his book the night of the program for $22 each.
This poetry collection consists of four sections, celebrating nature through observations. Many pieces are previously published in national and international journals and have been aired on Maine Public Radio. Dennis is a poet of unique imagination who looks at the world and the human condition with an intuitive awareness.
Camire teaches and tutors writing at Central Maine Community College, is the former director of Maine Poetry Central, and the founder of the Portland Poet Laureate Program. He is an Association of Writers & Writing Programs Intro Journal Award winner and has published poems in Poetry East, Spoon River Review, and Mid-American Review.
