DIXFIELD — Mr. and Mrs. Paul Gaudet of Dixfield are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kate Marie, to Steve Barteaux, son of Greg and Rachel Barteaux of Norridgewock.

Ms. Gaudet graduated from the University of Maine and is currently a fifth grade teacher at York Middle School in York.

Mr. Barteaux also graduated from the University of Maine and is an eighth grade science teacher at Noble Middle School in Berwick.

A fall 2012 wedding is being planned.
