AUBURN — The eighth annual Autumn Night Out will take place at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, at Martindale Country Club. Proceeds support Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice’s hospice program. Reservations are $35 per person.

The committee has planned an “Around the World Tour” featuring a sampling of Asian, Mexican, Italian and Middle-Eastern cuisines. There will be a silent and live auction with an array of items from local businesses.

“After going through the process of caring for a sick husband, I made a commitment that I would help those who must rely on outside help,” said Cyndi Robbins, chairwoman of the Autumn Night Out Committee. “I joined the Board of Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice three years ago and this year agreed to chair the committee for the eighth annual Autumn Night Out. This is an awesome organization that reaches many people in our area who need that little extra help to stay independent and comfortable in their own homes.”

Last year, Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice provided hospice care to more than 1,000 people at home, in nursing facilities and at the Hospice House in Auburn.
