DEAR SUN SPOTS: The Sun Journal will be publishing a feature in an upcoming November Sunday edition about our annual Thanksgiving meal that includes ideas on giving the holiday a refresh and perhaps a few new twists.

We’re calling on our readers to assist with adding some local flavor to this story. Perhaps you’re planning on completely changing up your menu to bring new tastes to the table, or you and your family already have favorite but unique recipes or food traditions that make your Thanksgiving extra special.

If you would like to participate in the story by sharing an idea, a recipe, or a twist on an old favorite, we’d like to hear from you as soon as possible. Please write to [email protected] by November 2. — Mark, Lewiston
