Dennis William McNamara
AUBURN – Dennis William McNamara, 72, died on Oct. 29, 2024, in Lewiston.
Dennis was born in Portland on Feb. 6, 1952. He was predeceased by his parents, Edward V. and Josephine F. Arsenault McNamara of Yarmouth.
Dennis was a lifelong truck driver, traveling all over the country. He was an avid fisherman, gardener, clammer and lobsterman. He enjoyed many fishing trips with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Debra L. McNamara of Auburn; his son, Dennis J. and his wife, Amy of Poland, his daughter, Denise, of Lewiston, his daughter, Shelley and partner, Adam of Sumner. He loved his grandchildren, Courtney, Cayden, Michael, Nicholas, Madison, Elyssa, Devin, Tarra; and his great-grandchildren, Rylee, Elijah, Callen, Makenzie and Mason. He is also survived by his brother, Edward V. and his wife, Judy of Auburn, and his sister, Spring Davignon of Poland.
A private service will be held at a later date.
