BETHEL — “Thanksgiving Dinner with the Franks,” an original play written by Bethel Senior Players cast members, John Reilly and Bridget Remington, finds the Franks’ adult children and their spouse’s home for the holiday. What could go wrong when a braggadocios lawyer, his scofflaw brother (and his flirtatious wife), the do-gooder sister, and lonely cat lady come together under one roof? They may never grow out of their sibling rivalry, but when it comes down to it, family is family. And so what if Mom forgot the turkey?
See it, along with two other original plays written by cast members, “The 52nd Annual Meeting of the Rainy Day Garden Club,” by John Reilly, and “Another Christmas Story: Who Cares,” by Mary Hickey and Lia Paliocha, plus a play by playwright, Jim Gordon, “The Good Deed.” The performance will be held at the Gould Academy McLaughlin Auditorium, Church Street, Bethel, on Friday, November 22, at 7 p.m. and on Saturday, November 23, at 2 p.m. Admission is free; donations welcome.
