NORWAY — Norway Memorial Library will host a cookie and book swap on Wednesday, Dec. 4, from 5-6:30 p.m. Dec. 4 is National Cookie Day! Participants will bring two dozen of their favorite holiday cookies and a copy of their recipe.
Enjoy sampling some cookies along with coffee and tea provided. Those attending will find new recipes to add to their list of favorite cookies, and a chance to relax and socialize at the library during the busy holiday season.
Remember to bring a container to take home cookie samples. In addition, attendees are asked to bring a gently used book to swap. To register or for more information, stop by the library’s information desk or call 743-5309 ext. 1. This event depends on a minimum of five registrants by November 27.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
