George H. Fisher Jr.

LEWISTON – George H. Fisher, Jr., 63, of Lewiston, Maine, passed away on Dec. 20, 2024, after battling lung cancer. George was born on April 25, 1961, in Lewiston, the son of George H. Fisher, Sr. and Alberta G. Mason

George held many jobs, most notably being a truck driver and most recently a Littleway stitcher at Quoddy. George was known for his love and passion for sports, especially the Boston Bruins and New England Patriots. George also loved spending time at Oxford Plains Speedway rooting for Mike Rowe.

Remaining to cherish George’s memory are his only child Jason Fisher and wife Paige Fisher, along with his only grandchild Aria Fisher. George is also survived by his brother Mike Fisher, sisters Cindy Langelier and Pam Fisher; as well as other loving family and friends.

Preceding George in death are his father George H. Fisher Sr, his mother Alberta G. “Mason” Fisher, his beloved aunt and uncle Edith Mason and Roy Mason.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be determined for friends and family to gather.

Memorial donations in George’s memory may be directed to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation at Firehero.org/donate. George held firefighters and the Marine Corp close to his heart as an honor to his father George Sr.
