NORTH TURNER — The wedding of Elizabeth Morris and Ryan Richardson was held at 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 1 at the Boofy Quimby Hall in North Turner. Michael Chavez, notary public, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Richardson is the daughter of Ed and Tracy Morris of Turner. Mr. Richardson is the son of Dennis and Lori Richardson of Turner.

The bride wore a strapless ball gown, with pick-up skirt and a red sash. She carried a bouquet of red Gerber daisies, sunflowers and Cirucus roses.

Ashlee Kates, best friend of the bride for many years, was maid of honor.  Bridesmaids were Carrie Rand, long-time best friend, Angelea Preston, long-time best friend, and Ashley Richardson, sister-in-law of the bride. Kayla and Gabby Smith, friends of the family, were flower girls.

Kyle Morris, best friend of the bridegroom and brother of the bride, was best man. Ushers were Tyler Richardson and Aaron Richardson, who are both brothers of the bridegroom. Ring bearer was Garrett Turner, friend of the family.

A reception followed at the Boofy Quimby Hall in North Turner, after which the couple traveled to Cocoa Beach, Fla. They bought a home together more than a year ago in Turner.

The bride is a 2009 graduate of Leavitt Area High School, where she met her husband. She is currently a student at the University of Maine at Farmington, planning to graduate this spring with a bachelor’s degree in rehabilitation services and also plans to go to graduate school for social work.

The bridegroom is a 2008 graduate of Leavitt Area High School and is currently working for Charles Talbot Associates, an auction company located in Turner.
