RANGELEY — 2024 was a fantastic season and one in which Rangeley Friends of the Arts offered more free events, new partnerships with the community, completion of the new facade and more youth involvement than ever. Not only are we a one stop shop for arts related programming, we are a teaching theater that fosters the youth in this community year after year.
In 2024, the RFA offered:
5 Free events
4 art workshops
2 live comedy shows
7 gallery exhibits with over 19 artists involved
8 student programs
3 student scholarships
5 community events
2 storytelling performances
4 nights of our musical cabaret DIVA
4 sold out nights of the summer musical “Newsies”
6 concerts
26 First Run & Indie Films
We are in the initial stages of planning our 57th season of arts programming and events. We couldn’t do it without your support. We encourage you to Get Involved and are so thankful for our dedicated supporters, sponsors and volunteers.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
You can read more here about our commenting policy and terms of use. More information is also found on our FAQs.
