Mike Maurice is set to perform at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, at The Hill Arts, 76 Congress St., Munjoy Hill, Portland.
Maurice is a singer/songwriter and multi instrumentalist from Biddeford who combines soulful, earthy instrumentals and melancholic undertones to create a sonic atmosphere. Influenced by the playing of John Mayer and the writing of Bon Iver, Fleet Foxes and Gregory Alan Isakov to name a few.
Having performed on a multitude of stages up and down the East Coast including The State Theater, Port City Music Hall, One Longfellow Square, Blue, Wilbur Theater in Boston, Triad Theater in New York City and a wide variety of smaller clubs and listening rooms, he helps to make the world a smaller place one show at a time.
